I'm a self-taught artist based in Texas, but more than that, I'm someone who has always felt happiest making things with my hands.

For years I built businesses around creating, but painting eventually became the place where I could slow down and simply enjoy the process again. There's something about watching layers build, following intuition instead of a plan, and letting curiosity lead the way that keeps bringing me back. 

Nature has always been where I go to reconnect and find inspiration. The quiet of a trail, the texture of weathered rock, moss growing where you least expect it, the way light filters through the trees, nature's incredible color palette—those are the details that stay with me. I don't try to recreate them exactly. Instead, I paint the feeling of being there.

Over time, I've realized that I don't paint to escape life—I paint to notice it. To slow down long enough to appreciate the beauty that's already there, and hopefully help others do the same. My hope is that my paintings can do what nature so often does for me: invite you to slow down, even if it's just for a moment.
